Innovation Voucher Scheme 2023

Open Public Call for Support to Small and Medium Enterprises

Collaboration with representatives from the academic community and digital innovation hubs is often a key factor in the success and development of innovation levels in enterprises. Recognizing the importance of this collaboration, INTERA Technology Park has launched the BOOST project in mid-2023, supported by the project "Innovation and Digitalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU4DigitalSME," co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ.

As part of this project, on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at this year’s CONNECTO conference, a Public Call was officially opened for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to apply for innovative projects and receive direct support through collaboration with representatives from the academic community and digital innovation hubs. Just over a month ago, INTERA Technology Park also opened a Public Call for representatives of the academic community and research centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide services to SMEs. 15 faculties and digital innovation hubs with over 150 experts have submitted their services in areas such as technological innovation, legal and intellectual property rights, digital transformation, and development and internationalization, which are presented in the published catalog. All interested SMEs in Bosnia and Herzegovina can choose one service provider and corresponding service under this call and receive one-time support through the Innovation Voucher Scheme. This program provides financial support for the service in a maximum amount of EUR 5,000 (equivalent in BAM), with a mandatory 10% co-financing by the SMEs that collaborate with the service providers.

Details of the Public Call can be found here, including information on the application process. For additional questions, you can contact boost@intera.ba.

Additional information about the Public Call will also be available at the online Info session to be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 10:00 AM. Secure your place at this event by filling out the form at the link.

The BOOST project is part of the "Innovation and Digitalization of Small and Medium Enterprises in BiH/EU4DigitalSME" project, co-financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), aimed at developing the economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special focus on digital transformation. The project is implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
